Amy Hopkins Memorial Scholarship for Fashion Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Amy Hopkins was the first Fashion Design Adjunct hired in 2019. She was instrumental in building the foundation of our new Fashion Design program at ACC. Because of her contribution, the department flourished and in 2021, she became the first Instructional Associate hired for the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, Amy was diagnosed with cancer. Even during her illness, she continued to teach and mentor our students. She also played a role in securing the departments\u2019 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion grant, and creating the first Articulation Agreement with Texas Tech.
In honor of this remarkable adjunct, the family of Amy Hopkins, together with the Fashion Design Department, has established a memorial scholarship to support students pursuing their career in Fashion Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two Amy Hopkins Scholarships students are encouraged to apply. One, to benefit incoming students to get a head start in their fashion journey, and a second for graduating students to support their Fashion Showcase Capstone students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
